Warranty
This document sets out FrameBoost PC's current warranty policy. If you have any questions or would like clarification, please contact our support team.
Legacy Builds — six-month FrameBoost warranty
Legacy Builds include a six-month warranty provided by FrameBoost. The standard three-year PC warranty and extended-warranty options described below apply to new systems, not Legacy Builds. For assistance, follow the RMA process below or contact FrameBoost with your order details. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are additional to this warranty and may continue beyond six months.
Consumer Guarantees
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Covered Support
- Hardware faults covered under warranty terms
- Dead on arrival or defective product assessment
- Support for FrameBoost-built systems and verified parts

Available Remedies
- Repair the Product using new or refurbished replacement parts.

Covered Service
- Covered repairs and replacements are completed without charge for labour or parts. Replacement parts may differ from the original but will be of equivalent or better quality and functionality.
Exclusions from Warranty Coverage
This warranty does not cover:
Not Covered
- Physical damage: Damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, negligence, spills, impact or improper handling.
- Unauthorised modifications or repairs: Damage caused by modifications, overclocking, undervolting or repairs carried out by anyone other than FrameBoost PC or an authorised service provider.
- Improper maintenance: Damage caused by inadequate maintenance, including failing to clean fans, filters or radiators where this results in overheating or performance issues.
- Continued operation with a fault: Additional damage caused by continuing to operate a Product after signs of failure, such as overheating or a coolant leak, become apparent.
- Unsuitable environments: Damage caused by moisture, salt, excessive dust or other unsuitable operating conditions.
- Changed system settings: Damage caused by altering FrameBoost-configured settings, including cooling or fan settings, where those changes lead to system failure or unsafe temperatures.
- Power or voltage issues: Damage arising from voltage manipulation, an unsuitable power supply, electrical surge or other external power event.
- Software issues: Operating-system corruption, malware or conflicts caused by third-party software.
- Custom configurations: Customer-created software or hardware configurations, including RAID arrays, virtual machines or other specialised settings. Customers are responsible for backing up their configurations and data.
- Normal wear and tear: Expected deterioration and cosmetic damage, including scratches, dents and fading.
- Inadequate return packaging: Damage sustained in transit when the original box, protective foam and, where supplied, shipping crate are not used.
Replacement Parts
A replacement part supplied under this warranty is covered against Manufacturer Defects for three (3) months from replacement or for the remainder of the original Product warranty, whichever period is longer.
Open-Loop Coolant
Coolant in an open-loop cooling system naturally evaporates over time. The End User is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the correct coolant level. Coolant should be replaced after 18 months as routine maintenance, at the customer's expense.
Making a Warranty Claim
If you believe your FrameBoost Product has a defect, create an RMA request through your FrameBoost account or email support@frameboostpc.com. Our team will first try to diagnose and resolve the issue by phone, email or remote support. If the issue cannot be resolved remotely, the system will require physical inspection or service:
Service Options
- Carry-in warranty: You are responsible for delivering the Product to our service centre or paying the shipping costs to and from the service centre.
- Pickup and return warranty: Where this service was included with or purchased for the Product, FrameBoost PC will cover shipping to and from our service centre within Australia.
Return Packaging
Products must be returned in their original packaging with all protective foam and any supplied shipping crate. FrameBoost PC is not responsible for transit damage caused by inadequate packaging, and the customer may be charged for repairs arising from that damage.

Diagnosis and Repairs
FrameBoost PC provides lifetime remote support by email, phone and, where appropriate, remote-access session. This support covers hardware issues, FrameBoost-supplied software and the original system configuration. FrameBoost is responsible for the stability of the system as configured at purchase, but not for customer-created settings or configurations. If remote troubleshooting does not resolve the issue, return-to-base service may be required. A support ticket must be opened before a system is delivered for service. We generally respond to support enquiries within 24 hours during business hours. Diagnosis and repair times vary depending on the fault and the availability of replacement parts.
Graphics Cards
Graphics cards, other than products expressly labelled for mining use, are intended for desktop PC operation. Use for blockchain computing, cryptocurrency mining or another non-standard purpose voids the applicable warranty to the extent permitted by law.
FrameBoost PC's Limited Warranty Obligations
If FrameBoost PC refunds the value of a Product or replaces the Product, this warranty ends for the original Product at the time of that refund or replacement. No FrameBoost PC employee or representative is authorised to modify, extend or add to this warranty. If any provision is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Except as stated in this warranty and to the extent permitted by law, FrameBoost PC is not liable for special, incidental, indirect or consequential loss arising from a warranty breach. This includes loss of use, revenue, profit, savings, business opportunity, goodwill or reputation; loss, corruption or recovery of data; downtime; and the cost of replacing equipment or reproducing programs or data stored on or used with a FrameBoost Product. Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Transferability and Warranty Extensions
An extended warranty must be purchased by the Original Purchaser within ninety (90) days of the Product purchase date. Once applied, the warranty covers the Product and transfers with it. The Original Purchaser may cancel a warranty extension within thirty (30) days of buying the extension, provided no warranty claim has been made for the Product.
Governing Law
This warranty and related sales are governed by the laws of Australia. Australian courts have jurisdiction over proceedings arising from or relating to these warranty terms or the FrameBoost website.
